Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The summer day was quiet as I drove down Millway Rd. in Barnstable on Cape Cod. This marsh, one of my favorites, I've painted many times - but always in watercolor. However, when I saw this large blue heron blue in this particular area, I knew I had to paint it again - in oil! 11 X 14 in a 3 inch wide silver frame.
