Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Most years my husband and I leave Cape cod to visit the state of Maine. Boothbay Harbor is one of our favorite spots to spend a few days. I have painted this view of the island in the harbor, from many angles and with different mediums. Truly a restful and special place.
