Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. One early morning, as were heading out of Scituate Harbor, I viewed the sun peeking through the fog. Off in the distance was Scituate Lighthouse and the keepers cottage with two sailboats and their skiffs reflected in the water. Sooo peaceful! Framed with a white mat and a .75" traditional wooden brown frame.
